“Stranger Danger Awareness”: A project led by a MUFY lecturer

At the International University Carnival on e-Learning (IUCEL) 2021 organised by Universiti Utara Malaysia, a team lead by Ms Vanieswari was awarded a silver medal for their project titled, “Stranger Danger Awareness”. The aim of the project presented was to create an awareness among children aged 7 to 10 about kidnapping and the dangers of engaging with strangers. The project involved the development of an e-learning module encompassing dual language online materials and fun activities, which parents and teachers can utilise to teach their children and students, respectively.

Furthermore, at the e-Sulam Ideation, Invention, and Innovation Challenge 2021 organised by University of Malaya, the “Stranger Danger Awareness” project emerged second runner-up.
