A SDSN Malaysia Youth Initiative: Victoria University Students Create Wall of Kindness7 December 2022The project is advised by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Malaysia Chapter Secretariat, the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development (JSC). In January 2022, JSC convened a group of six youth leaders to implement SDG-related projects, with the eventuality of becoming the Malaysian SDSN Youth chapter. The Wall of Kindness is the group's second initiative.

MUFY Outreach 2022: Quality Education and Quality Living for All29 November 2022In the second half of 2022, the MUFY Student Council and MUFY staff collaborated in the MUFY outreach programme of providing free tuition to children and teens in Rumah Shalom - a foster care home for underprivileged children - with the hope of fulfilling Sustainable Development Goal #4: Quality Education. On Saturdays, different teams of students formed by the MUFY Student Council members would tutor the children and teens in Rumah Shalom to help them with their studies and to also teach them a new language – Mandarin. The tuition sessions held were very productive, fulfilling and life-changing.
Meet the Sunway College JB Rubik's Cube Speed Solving Whiz, Jayden29 November 2022Jayden’s journey as a speed cuber has taught him to expect the unexpected in life. He has managed to balance his professional career with his studies, and has done well in both. He is grateful for the tremendous support from his family and friends throughout his journey. Now in college, he has also been recognised for his excellent academic progress by his lecturers, who are proud of the fact that he achieved all A’s on his recent assessment. The Sunway College Johor Bahru community wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavours, and hope that he achieves everything he desires – continued success in speed cubing and an offer to pursue an actuarial science degree in the future. Murals create a vibrant Australian presence in Sunway KL Campus29 November 2022The vibrant mural features colourful beach cabins at St Kilda, the famous Twelve Apostles, Luna Park, koala bear, Philip Island penguin and the pelican breeding ground at Mud Island. Flinder’s Street Railway Station, which is Australia’s oldest railway station and the brand new VU campus building against beautiful hues of the sky at dusk has also been included.
